Quality is at the heart of everything we do.
We see quality as the responsibility of all staff.
To manage change and minimise gaps between current and best practice we use a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) approach to plan, monitor, do and act. Each year we undertake a strategic planning process to set SMART goals – goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time defined.
It is all about offering our members specific projects to drive change – rather than simply providing a single set of stand-alone activities to meet external agendas and contracting needs.
At the heart of all RAPHS activity is a governance framework. Our various advisory groups can advocate on behalf of health providers. Central to our work is liaison with key sector providers including the health Alliances, Ministry of Health (MoH), Lakes District Health Board (LDHB), and vendors.
